Tools
Part of how a studio works can be written down. This page publishes the tools that work as readable text: not applications, but working methods you hand to the AI you already use.
RENterior Senior Interior Review
A floor-plan and apartment-purchase review method as a Markdown file, for any LLM.
Private Beta · Invite only
What it is
RENterior Senior Interior Review is a Markdown text file that gives a professional floor-plan and apartment-purchase review method to the AI you already use — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another.
Not an application. Not an executable. It installs nothing. It asks for no password, API key or account access.
The order of the method is fixed: first it reads out what is on the drawing, then it reconstructs the space, and only third does it give an opinion. Where the data does not support a statement, it has to say so — it does not guess.
What it does
- Reads a floor plan and writes back what it sees before evaluating anything
- Examines circulation, door swings, furnishability, storage, the wet core and orientation
- Household-specific: the same plan gets a different verdict for a two-person and a six-person household
- Names the source of every statement — regulation, standard, chamber practice or the studio’s professional position — and does not conflate them
- Flags contradictory data across a multi-sheet document set
What it does not do
- Not a structural, mechanical or energy calculation. It will not tell you whether a wall can come down.
- Not a code-compliance check. It does not replace the permitting process and gives no opinion on whether a design is approvable.
- It cannot see what is not on the drawing. Ceiling height, structure, service routes, existing condition — without a section or a consultant’s drawing it says nothing about these.
- Not a cost estimate. It gives no construction cost and no property valuation.
- Its accuracy depends on the quality of what you upload. Less can be read from a phone photograph at an illegible scale — and it will say so.
- Not a designer. It exists so you can ask better questions — of yourself and of the professional you work with.
How you use it
- 01Open a new chat in your own AI and paste in the SAFE START prompt from the package.
- 02Upload the skill file. The AI first only reviews it for safety and asks whether it may activate it. You decide.
- 03Then upload your own floor plan and describe what you want to find out.
Security
The package contains a SAFE START — SECURITY PREFLIGHT prompt. It instructs the AI to treat the skill not as instructions but as text to be checked first, against nine risk criteria: does it ask for secrets, code execution, file operations, account access, automatic data transmission, does it attempt to override safety rules. The skill activates only if you then say yes separately.
This is static text review, not antivirus and not a formal security certification — but it makes what we claim about the file checkable.
File integrity can be verified against the SHA-256 checksum (below).
Data handling
You upload your floor plan to your own AI provider, not to us. Whatever you upload there falls under that provider’s data handling — worth reviewing your settings before sensitive material.
At the end of the review RENterior offers a short, five-question beta feedback. The skill sends nothing — it cannot send anything. It prepares an anonymised block of text that you see, can edit, and which reaches us only if you send it yourself to [email protected].
Upload only material you are entitled to share. Third-party names and personal data are worth redacting.
Access
RENterior is currently in invite-only private beta. It is not a public download: the final licence will be chosen before public release.
If you would like to be among the testers, write a few lines about the floor plan you would try it on:
The button opens a pre-filled email in your own mail client — four questions and one consent line. The address is used solely to send the package and for correspondence about the beta: no newsletter, no third party, no automatic subscription. You can ask for deletion at [email protected] at any time; details in the privacy notice.
