Legal information

Privacy notice

Draft for legal review. Do not treat as final until checked by counsel.

1. Who processes your data

Ren Design Belsőépítészeti Kft. (1033 Budapest, Laktanya utca 2. 2. em. 10., Hungary; company register 01-09-170953; VAT 24303352-2-41), [email protected], +36 20 320 2263. We have no separate data protection officer; enquiries go to the e-mail address above.

2. What we collect, and why

Enquiries by e-mail. Your name, e-mail address, phone number if you give it, and whatever you write to us. Purpose: answering you and preparing a possible contract. Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

Project material you send us. Floor plans, photographs, renderings or briefs may contain personal data — an address, the layout of a home, faces in a photograph. We use them only to answer your enquiry or to carry out the work. Legal basis: contract performance, or your consent where no contract exists.

No analytics, no cookies. The site sets no cookies, runs no tracking, builds no profile. Your language choice is not stored on this static site — it is a separate address (/en/ or /hu/).

3. Who else sees it

Our hosting provider (Hostinger International Ltd., stated in the imprint) and our e-mail provider process data on our behalf as data processors, within the European Economic Area. We do not sell data and do not share it for advertising.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a contract: 12 months, then deleted. Contract-related material: for the duration of the contract and the statutory retention period that follows (accounting records 8 years under Hungarian law). Material you ask us to delete: removed within 30 days, unless we are legally required to keep it.

5. Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or portability of your data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Hungarian authority (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., [email protected]) or go to court.
